The On Call Referral Service provides assistance for patients and staff in locating services. Many of the calls received are requests to locate a particular type of physician to help treat a specific problem. Some calls from patients are more informational and these include questions about accepted insurance, location and directions to various offices, procedures that are performed, etc. Staff calls include questions about doctors taking new patients, arranging for maps and directions to be sent to patients, and other general information.

Because patients like to "meet" the provider before the appointment if possible, letters are sent to new patients that include information about the facility as well as services provided and information about the physician and/or department. Letters are sent to physicians about patients that have requested information about the doctor or department.

The On Call Referral Service is a unique service that provides information and assistance to patients, both new and existing, and to the staff of our facility as well as referring physicians.
