Bio
Dr. Sheppard is a board-certified internal medicine physician, and has been caring for patients for over 25 years. He earned his undergraduate, medical, and doctorate degrees at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Sheppard went on to complete an internship and his residency program at University of Florida College of Medicine, specializing in internal medicine. As an Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Sheppard is specially trained to diagnose and treat adult diseases and uses the latest in evidence-based medicine to help his patients promote health and prevent disease. He provides primary care for both men and women, and has special interest in cardiovascular diseases, diabetic, cholesterol and blood pressure management, and the treatment of osteoporosis.
